In celebration of Exile in Guyville‘s 30th anniversary, Liz Phair’s original record label, Matador Records, will be releasing a special reissue of her critically-acclaimed debut on limited-edition purple vinyl.

Matador made the announcement today, which officially marks 30 years since Exile in Guyville. As a special bonus, a studio outtake of “Miss Lucy” was also released and is available to stream or purchase.

For longtime fans, “Miss Lucy” should be familiar as it was one of the Liz’s original Girly-Sound tracks, initially the first track on side B of Yo Yo Yup Yup Word to Ya Muthuh. Surprising to many, a studio version was recorded and was considered for Exile in Guyville, but was ultimately shelved in favor of including “Flower.”

The 30th anniversary reissue of Exile in Guyville is slated for release on October 20. Unfortunately, no bonuses or extra tracks are slated to be on this version.
