According to Stern Grove’s official Instagram account, Liz Phair has canceled her scheduled appearance for the festival’s lineup for Sunday’s performance in San Francisco.
Citing a case of COVID-19 within her touring party, Phair, who was scheduled to perform as the day’s headliner, along with Madi Diaz, Peaches Christ, and DJ Ladyryan, will be replaced by folk-rock pioneer Ani DiFranco.
Stern Grove is a 10-week concert series which kicked off on June 12 and is scheduled to run every Sunday through August 7. Admission is free, but planned attendance must be reserved through the festival’s official website.
For those unable to attend the show, the event will be streamed through Mandolin, the same service that streamed Phair’s “Hey Lou, Hey Liz” livestream event last year.
